En septiembre de 2025 salió a la calle la más reciente apuesta de Motorworship Records, sello sonorense que ahora presenta un disco compilatorio con ocho bandas del norte de México: Metal Punks N Roll / División del Norte.El álbum reúne a Irons Dicks, B.E.E.R., Orgon Jihad, Darklowns, Spring Breakers, Animals Revenge, Atrofero y Anestesia, grupos representativos de Hermosillo, Mexicali, Tijuana y Ensenada. Se trata de proyectos con una base sólida de seguidores y el respeto ganado dentro de la escena subterránea gracias a la calidad de su música: velocidad a quemarropa, rabia desbordada y una distorsión afilada que no perdona oídos inexpertos.Cada banda aporta un tema grabado exclusivamente para este material, cumpliendo con el requisito de pertenecer al norte del país. ¿La razón? Este compilado es apenas el inicio: la idea es continuar con ediciones dedicadas al centro, sur y otras regiones de México, siempre bajo el mismo formato.
El objetivo es mostrar la amplitud y riqueza de propuestas que, desde sus contextos culturales y musicales, conforman la identidad del metal y punk mexicano.Sobre este trabajo colectivo, Lobo Flaco, fundador del sello, comentó: "Metal Punks N Roll – División del Norte es un trabajo de visión, perseverancia y dedicación. Aquí no hay lujos, no hay fama, no hay millones: hay riffs que destruyen, voces que desgarran y baterías que revientan cráneos. Un CD que no pretende ser otra cosa más que lo que es: honesto, brutal y nacido del alma norteña mexicana. Astaroth - Eco de un Legado (2024)
Eco de un Legado is a 2024 compilation album released by Motorworship Records as a tribute to the influential Hermosillo-based metal band Astaroth. It features 22 tracks by various underground bands interpreting Astaroth’s legacy across genres like black, death, grind, thrash, crust, and punk. The project isn’t a straightforward covers album, but rather a collective homage that frames Astaroth as a foundational, generational pillar of the local extreme music scene.
Orgon Jihad - Muertos EP (2020)
Orgon Jihad, a project of Proto-Black, SpeedBlackThrash, or Black n Roll. With a history since 2014, Orgon Jihad is the power trio from Sonora, Mexico that represents the obscure sound of the genre's early roots. ¨Muertos EP¨, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered DIY by Adolfo Villarino Romo during pandemic times. A project that promises to deliver a cursed, rotten and original sound!
Stress - Utopistas (2021)
Stress grind-crust is a band with rich history of almost 30 years. Based in Hermosillo, Sonora. Produced by Ruben Martell of Stress. Recorded and mixed by Adolfo Villarino Romo at Raza Nocturna Prod Studios, Mastered by Lenin Rojo in late 2020 and early 2021. With 15 songs of absolute brutality and protest in its purest essence. Stress represents Anarchy made music in Sonora.
Verdugo - Verdugo EP (2020)
Verdugo. A project by Adolfo Villarino Romo. Self-produced, recorded, mixed and mastered at Raza Nocturna Prod during the 2019 - 2020 pandemic times. Released through the independent label Motörworship Records in 2021. There are 4 original songs full of evil, and finishing with the cover ¨Getting high at the gates of hell¨ by the legendary band ¨Drone Throne¨ from Gilbert, Arizona.
Brigada II.VI.III - MMXX EP (2020)
Brigada II.VI.III is a sonic command of Hardcore Punk and its metallic strains, originating from the Sonoran Desert of Mexico (Hermosillo and Guaymas).
B263 has a five-track EP titled "MMXX" released in 2021, written and produced by Alex Rivera, recorded and mastered by Adolfo Villarino. The album ranges from fast-paced Punk, Post-Hardcore, Beatdown, Metalcore to Hardcore Metal between songs.
Dragon de Komodo - Sin Justificar (2020)
First album ¨Sin Justificar¨ by the Band Dragon De Komodo, formed in 2019 by Juan Arangure and Hugo Valenzuela as composers. This album was recorded at Raza Nocturna studio ¨ With our esteemed and dear friend and sound engineer Adolfo Villarino, supporting us in the mastering and throughout the recording, giving advice on music theory, listening to us and trying to give their advice to care for each of our songs. His patience made us learn how something difficult can be made easy while record an full album. The objective of Dragón de Komodo is to innovate Mexican alternative rock in order to get out of those clichés that are heard day by day, wanting to go beyond that limit that is said to be where every band remains stagnant.
